At the Ski & Snowboardschool Zell am See , experienced professionals are at your side. We offer group courses for beginners, intermediates and advanced snowboardes.
For individual training we recommend our private snowboard instructors.
The minimum age for snowboard lessons is 10 years! For younger children we offer private snowboard lessons.
SNOWBOARD COURSE - LEVEL 1
BEGINNER - Your first day on the snowboard
We start with the basic exercises in our practice area. The aim is to learn the basic techniques (gliding, sliding, braking, drifting), using the skilifts and riding on blue slopes.

SNOWBOARD COURSE - LEVEL 2
SLIGHTLY ADVANCED
You already have some experience on a snowboard? The aim is to improve the basic techniques (gliding, sliding, braking, drift turn, front - backside), using the ski lifts and get more safety on blue (possibly red) slopes.

SNOWBOARD COURSE - LEVEL 3
Only available in high season!
Intermediate - Advanced
You already have experience and have mastered the most important basic techniques. During the course, you will refine your technique and speed and practise on blue and red (black?)slopes!

COURSE ALLOCATION
Providing your skiing level when booking online helps us to organise, plan and assign ski instructors.
The exact group assignment for advanced skiers takes place on the first day – tailored to your individual performance level.
If the allocation on the first day is not quite right, you can switch to a faster or slower group at any time!
Just speak to your ski instructor or come to the ski school office!
SNOWBOARD LEVELS
This is how we divide the groups:
* LEVEL 1 – Beginner – first time Snowboarding
* LEVEL 2 – You already have some experience – looking formore safety on blue (possibly red) slopes.
* LEVEL 3 – Advanced (blue & red pistes). You will refine your technique and speed and practise on blue and red slopes!
MEETING POINT
The meeting point for our Snowboard courses is at meeting point F (TrassXpress mountain station / Areitbahn 3).
However, please come to the ski school office to check in and collect your course ticket or book a course on spot!

* Lift passes and equipment are not included in the price of the ski course. If a group is reduced to 3 participants, the ski school reserves the right to combine groups and shorten the lesson time. The ski school declines any liability for accidents that occur during or before the ski lessons. Course fees will only be refunded in the event of injury or illness, with a doctor’s certificate – as a difference. Course cancellations due to bad weather, lift failure (force majeure) will not be reimbursed.
